Instagram post 2093848190771450916_1239744669 "If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive." ~ Eleonora Duse
Instagram post 2092370278817922922_1239744669 Okay, so here is the BIG NEWS 👇👇
.
.
We are moving, for time indefinite, yet again, not to a new house, but to a different city this time. As much as we are really heartbroken to leave this beautiful city and all the incredible memories that we have built over the past 22 months putting it all behind us, we are also supremely excited to start a new journey.
.
.
Dedicating this post to my partner in life, who makes it all sound so much fun everyday, while he manages the show backstage.
.
.
We aren't really sure of what kind of stories we would share in the coming days, but we would definitely have a lot to say, like we always do.
.
.
Thank you for being with us on this journey 🙏🙏
Instagram post 2092364595133388341_1239744669 Hey guys! Hope you all are having a lovely weekend.
.
.
There is a lot happening at our end, and I would share the BIG news in the next post.
For all of you who were curious to know about how has our experience been so far living in a 2BHK apartment here at Konstanz, read on 👇👇
.
. *********************************************
.
.
Life has been incredibly nice, except for that one little incident I had shared on my blog few weeks back. We are loving every bit of this new life.
.
.
On most days, we choose to stay inside spending time with each other, cooking and savouring our favourite dishes, doing lots of DIY activities, reading, watching webseries etc.
.
.
Well, we had always loved staying at the Apartment Hotel and never had any complaints. But now when we are living in a house, we are able to appreciate the space( 2 extra rooms, a big kitchen and a balcony🥺) and the amenities ( machines to do all the household chores- that make us feel so empowered) that we have.
.
.
Staying in a single room had brought us too close sharing the same physical space at all times. And though we have our favourite lil corners, we are almost sticking around with each other most of the times. Our bags are still packed with very less outside for daily use. It still takes more than a couple of days to intentionally stock up the fridge, because we are so used to walking upto the super market for buying daily and fresh.
.
.
I know it's too early to say, but I think, despite all that has changed in the way we live, we won't be able to shed the minimalist way of thinking and thereby consuming. And we would not want it any other way
.
.
********************************************
.
.
That explains lesser outdoor stories here, isn't it? 🙈
.
.
Stay tuned. Check my next post to know what's happening next with us.... 😎😎

.
.
We have moved into a house in Konstanz after staying in an apartment hotel for 20 months. We are loving every bit of it and would share these moments with you on our stories soon.
.
.
But like I always say, not everything that shimmers and glitters is gold and that good and bad always coexist, I would love to break away from the mould of sharing only the happy moments on social media and share the experience of a ' Not- so-good' day of mine that happened just two days back in this new house.
.
.
Read on ( link in bio )
.
.
An excerpt - " ...Few hours ago, when the storm was about to hit, I was just contemplating on not having heard the door bell ring for a very long time in my life, exactly for about 612 days, quite unaware of the fact that I would hear only that intermittently for 30 min within that unfortunate 3 hour window. The doorbell kept ringing with the facility manager moving in and out trying to fix the tap with an apologetic face. He couldn’t speak any English, and so I couldn’t really express my gratitude to him ..."

Instagram post 2078449720241695300_1239744669 Veganism though very fulfilling can really be tough at times due to inaccessibility, especially when you are travelling with a child and husband who aren’t vegans ( they do not wish to eat non vegan food as much as they can settle for anything that they find due to paucity of time because they aren't vegans yet. ). .
.
Because hell you don’t want to put them through the horror of finding vegan food when you are running on tight schedules or just tired that you can eat anything that comes your way to rush back home and crash.
.
.
Well on this trip to France, I had to make peace with cheesy pizza( I have started to really dislike the taste of it ) on more than few occassions though I was lucky to find no cheese pizza, vegan rice and veggies at many places. I also had to survive on milk breads for sandwiches that became our DIY go to snack for atleast one meal a day to make most of our daylight hpurs. .
.
When in crisis ( which isn’t a crisis necessarily, but just a step backwards because you don’t want to or can’t put more effort ), I have at times taken to dairy products being a Vegan. I don’t know about any other vegan personally who travels with a non vegan family as much as i do. If you have any suggestions, pls shoot. I am guilty, but not shameful of resorting to dairy products at times, because it’s a genuine concern. .

Instagram post 2078388485014080619_1239744669 For all of you who are curious, it's very much possible to continue with Intermittent Fasting while traveling, especially the 16:8 routine.
.
.
Intermittent Fasting is a lifestyle choice and it's better that we don't give it away under any circumstance just like we don't stop taking bath, brushing our teeth or eating. Spare yourself the horror of getting off and on it frequently no matter what the reason is. Because everytime you take a longish break like 2weeks or more it becomes more and more difficult to get back.
.
.
And if you decide to stick to it at all times you would pleasantly surprise yourself with your creativity and just how far you are capable of going to stay put on your fasting routine. Infact food would become least of your botheration in the larger scheme of things especially when you are travelling.
.
.
Yes you need to be well prepared for the time when you break your fast, so that you don't end up eating junk. But that’s no brainer right. You just need to be little mindful and plan a little in advance. That isn’t too much when it comes to managing your health right ? And that's certainly not as big as an effort over the extra inches that you would gain and the bloating that you would feel when you stop.
.
.
So next time when you are in two minds, remind your self, that stopping it would never make you feel better but continuing it would make you feel outstanding like it always does.
.
.
Happy Intermittent Fasting.
